Hearts coach Kenichi: I still trust Soulama

Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has refused to blame goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama for his side’s 1-0 Ghana Premier derby defeat to Asante Kotoko on Monday. 

The goal that divided the two sides at the Accra Sports Stadium was as a result of the own goalkeeper by his safest pair of hands.

Soulama curled a back pass into a gaping net just before the first half and only got sent off on 63 minutes for a last man tackle on Kotoko’s Dauda Mohammed.

But his coach Yatsuhashi has backed the “great” goalkeeper to come back stronger.

The Japanese trainer Tweeted hours after the match: “Soulama is great goal keeper. I still trust him. We will go back to our training and will come back strong for the next match.”
