Heart of Oak increase ticket prices for Kotoko game

Accra Hearts of Oak have released gate fees for the match day 10 encounter against their arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium.

The rate for the biggest game on the domestic in the Ghana Premier League has been increased.

According to the Administrative Manager of the club, Hackman Aidoo, management has increased the gate fees for the Kotoko game in order to raise enough money for the day to day running of the team.

“We have increased the gate fees for the Kotoko game, because that is our major source of revenue. Our supporters should bear with us because the fees for our game against Kotoko is not the usual ones we charge for other game,” he told Pulse Sports

“The VVIP will go for GHC 100, while the rate for the Upper VIP is GHC 40, with the lower VIP going for GHC 30. We will charge GHC 15 at the Centre line, whereas the fees for the Popular Stand is GHC 10

“Advance tickets will be available at certain points from tomorrow (Wednesday) and these points will be announced later.”

Hearts of Oak go into the game with high hopes after edging the league champions AshGold at Obuasi, while Kotoko are the underdogs this time around, after suffering a home defeat against their boggy side New Edubiase United in the weekend.

However, matches of this nature could go either way.
