Ghana records sharp rise in COVID-19 death toll and over 736 more cases

Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll has sharply risen to 175 after seven more fatalities were recorded according to the latest figures issued by the Ghana Health Service (GHS). 

The Health Service update also confirmed 736 new cases have been recorded.

According to the Ghana Health Service‘s Thursday, July 30, 2020 update, the active cases now stand at 3,681 after 31,286 recoveries/discharge were recorded.

Currently, Ghana’s total confirmed COVID-19 cases are 35,142 after the confirmation of 736 new cases from test results obtained.
