A death is reported of the late Hon Sherry Ayittey (75), who was the First Vice National Chairperson of National Democratic Congress (NDC) and a former minister under former president John Dramani Mahama’s government.
A statement from the Akwetey Nantan family signed by Nii Kofi Ayittey said,
“The head of the family, Nii Kofi Ayittey of Akwetey Nantan, Osu Alata, announce with deep sorrow the death of their beloved daughter and sister, Hon. Hanny Sherry Ayittey, on July 22, 2023.
The family will announce further details in due course”.
