[VIDEO] 1 Ghanaian Dies in Lebanon Every Week Unreported; Act Now!

Poverty stricken Lebanon has become the harbinger of doom to many immigrants including Ghanaian domestic workers.

The question remains, who are those behind this inhumane exploitative culture? It is opined that, one migrant worker dies every week in Lebanon unreported to the officials. Many Migrants were sold a bad deal to find economic opportunities abroad.

Tens of millions of women and girls around the world are employed as domestic workers in private households. They clean, cook, care for children, look after elderly family members, and perform other essential tasks for their employers. Despite their important role, they are among the most exploited and abused workers in the world.

The government of Ghana, led by President Akuffo Addo, have done little in the fight against modern day slavery, particularly when it comes to domestic abuse affecting the good people of Ghana home and abroad.

Government must crack down on all those agencies who seek to exploit Ghanaians abroad.

One migrant worker dies every week in Lebanon unreported to their families back home. Act now. Your sisters and cousins are in distress.
