NPP: C.K. Tedam passes on at 94

The chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Elders, Mr C.K. Tedam, has passed on aged 94, family sources say.

Mr Tedam native of Paga from the Upper East region.

He was a founding member of the Northern People’s Party and entered parliament in 1956 on the ticket of the Northern People’s Party, NPP.

Mr Tedam was a member of the Council of State during the Kufuor administration. He is a founding member of the New Patriotic Party. He became the Chairman of the Party’s Council of elders during the time the NPP went in opposition after 2008.
