A dead body of man suspected to be around 35 years old, has been found at Chinto, a suburb around Nsawam in the Eastern region.
The deceased is thought to have been killed by unknown assailants who later dumped his body in a mud. Police investigations on the body, Tuesday morning revealed deep wounds on some part of the deceased lips, forehead, chin and bruises on the neck.
The Police also found blood clots on some leaves on the edge of the road, as well as a broken bottle stained with blood.
The Deputy PRO of the Eastern Regional Police Command, Sergeant Francis Gomado said, Preliminary investigation suggest that the deceased was a motor rider who might have been attacked by the assailants with bottle and sticks, Star News reports.
The police have indicated their resolve to arrest the suspect involved with this crime.
