President Nana Addo meets the press on Dec 19

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is scheduled to meet the press on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the Jubilee House to account for his stewardship to Ghanaians public after his second year in office.

The engagement is to afford journalists the opportunity to ask the President on key questions they believe he hasn’t adequately addressed at various forums and also know about his plans on bettering the lot of Ghanaians while in government.

A statement signed and issued last Tuesday morning by Mr Pius Enam Hadzide, a Deputy Minister of Information said the move was in “furtherance of His Excellency the President’s desire to continuously engage with the Ghanaian people through the media, the President will on Wednesday December 19, 2018 meet with a cross section of the media at 10:30am at the Banquet Hall, Jubilee House, Accra.”

This would be the second engagement in 2018.

The statement said the Ghana Journalists Association, the umbrella body of journalists is working with the Ministry of Information and the Communications Directorate at the Jubilee House to coordinate media invitations.

“The President is expected to speak on some key national issues and interact with the media afterwards,” the statement said.
