Hearts secure Richmond Ayi’s signature

Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, has secured the services of young goalkeeper Richmond Ayi from West African Football Academy (WAFA).

The 21-year-old goalkeeper, joined the Phobians in a long term deal for an undisclosed fee after both parties agreed on a substantive deal, after a long negotiation process.

A statement signed by Mr. Kwame Opare Addo, the Communication Director of the Club, said ” Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club is delighted to announce the signing of promising young Ayi on a long term deal”.

The statement also welcomed the former Techiman City goalkeeper to the club, as they wished him all the best as target to do greater things for the continental club masters.

It urged all stakeholders of the club to render their support to club as they seek to reach greater heights in the near feature.

Ayi, has been handed is maiden call up into the national under-23 team, Black Meteors, by Ibrahim Tanko, as they prepare for U-23 African Championship qualifiers.
