Crime: Police arrests a lady who disfigured her stepsister with hot water

A Lady has been arrested for pouring hot water on her stepsister in Kogi.

The Kogi State Government has arrested a woman identified as Khadija Dauda for allegedly pouring hot water on her 14-year-old step-sister, Zainab Dauda.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Fatima Kabir Buba, noted that the accused carried out the act when she had a misunderstanding with Zainab thereby causing severe burns on her.

Several parts of Zainab’s body have been badly scalded as a result of the hot water poured on her body which is been treated by the Ministry.

The victim, according to findings, lost her mother some years back and had been undergoing endless torture from her step-siblings.
