Covid-19: Ghana’s cases now 204, two in critical condition

Ghana’s Covid-19 case has  increased to 204 ministry of health statement confirmed on April 2, 2020.

Two persons are also said to be in critical condition.

The number of regions reporting cases remain five, namely, Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Upper West and Eastern.

The Greater Accra Region has most of the cases (183) followed by the Northern Region (10), Ashanti Region (9), Upper West Region (1) and Eastern Region (1).

Most of the cases are reported from routine and enhanced surveillance activities.

Cases from travellers under mandatory quarantine remain 89.

Ghana has so far recorded five deaths and all the victims had underlying chronic medical conditions prior to COVID-19 infection.
