C.K. TEDAM WAS A ‘SAINT’– Bawumia

Ghana’s Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has eulogised the late C.K. Tedam, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Ghana’s Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has eulogised the late C.K. Tedam, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Dr Bawumia, who joined President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and other dignitaries to attend the state burial of the late NPP stalwart the Paga Primary School park in the Upper East Region on Saturday, 22 June 2019, said Mr Tedam’s “honesty and integrity were his most important assets”.

According to Dr Bawumia, Mr Tedam was “a rare species of politician and statesman who dedicated his entire life to serving Ghana”.

He added that Mr Tedam was a devoted Christian who lived a saintly life and will be sorely missed.

Mr Tedam was a founding member of the Northern Peoples Party, a former Member of Parliament, a former member of the Council of State, and until his death, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),

He died on 25 April 2019 at his home in Accra after a short illness.

He was 94.
