Breaking: EOCO goes after NAM1’s assets; freezes bank accounts

Ghanamatters.com has picked up information from reliable sources that, the bank accounts of the fugitive chief executive officer of MenzGold, Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM1 has been frozen.

An application was made today by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) at the Accra High Court to secure an order to confiscate NAM1’s accounts and assets. The intention of application is enable EOCO gain further understanding as investigation continues.

Sources say, EOCO is also working with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, DVLA, and other agencies to identify all vehicles belonging to NAM1 and his businesses, and confiscate same.
