AUDIO: What Kennedy Agyapong said to the BBC on Ahmed’s death

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has distanced himself from the murder of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

The MP in an interview with the BBC said, he is not to be blamed for the murder of Ahmed Hussein-Suale despite revealing his identity on national television.

“The motive behind… for circulating those pictures was to warn Ghanaians of that guy when they come to their premise because that is what they do,” the legislator said.

When asked whether he contributed to Ahmed Sueleh’s death, he said that is ‘rubbish’, advising that the journalist to rather, ‘ask intelligent questions’.

Mr Agyapong,  however, sympathised with the family of the journalist adding that Ahmed was exposed to a lot of danger because of the nature of his work.
