THE POPULARITY “INVERSE” BETWEEN DR.BAWUMIAH AND KEN OFORI ATTAH

THE POPULARITY “INVERSE” BETWEEN DR.BAWUMIAH AND KEN OFORI ATTAH

If you are a news addict like myself, then one thing has definitely caught your attention in the last 24 hours.. “Government sets up Committee to investigate the free fall of the Cedi”

Ridiculous right?…especially coming from a government whose running mate in opposition made a lot of fuss about the depreciation of the Cedi.

But that’s really the point, the NDC in power organised a prayer section to arrest the dollar, we all ridiculed it right and as usual the NPP was never left out of that party.

So why would they attempt something like this which they know would definitely make a good economic joke?

Who suffers the most ridicule?…well your guess is as good as mine!

You see Ken Ofori Attah is making a good case for President, infact Ken Ofori Attah’s game is to take over from President Akufo Addo instead of Dr.Bawumiah and everything Ken has done in the last few months is to weaken Dr.Bawumiah’s political goodwill whiles his appreciates tremendously.

If you ask me,I can tell you for a fact even with my eyes closed that this whole “forex committee” is Ken Ofori Attah’s own idea to further demystify the economic halo around the Vice President Dr.Bawumiah whiles setting himself up for the job the big job. ( but you didn’t ask..hehe)!

According to Ken Ofori Attah, the more Dr.Bawumiah looks bad and weak in the eyes of the public the better his chances of annexing the “throne” and succeeding his Cousin… this is what I call the popularity inverse between Dr.Bawumiah and Ken Ofori Attah.

Come to think of it, if the economy is not doing well, who is to be blamed?

The Vice President who has been overshadowed by a beleaguered Senior Minister and has no Policy input or a finance Minister who has all the blessings of the President to implement any economic policy he deems prudent sometimes even without cabinet approval? (Shhh don’t tell me yet..)

For now, who am I to settle a fight among lions…enjoy your weekend folks!

Cheers!
