Police Latest Reshuffle: Who are the winners and losers?

The Head of the Ghana Police Service, IGP, James Oppong-Boanuh, has made his second reshuffle following the previous one done at the beginning of January 2020.

The inspector general in his latest reassignment has made nine changes to the echelon of the police service.

COP Paul Manly Awini, who used to be Central Regional Commander,  is moving to become the Director-General for Research, Planning and Transformation.

COP Nathan Kofi Boakye

COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, Head of Research and Planning,  has been reassigned to head the Legal and Prosecution Department of the Police Service.

Tema Regional Commander, DCOP Johnson Oyirifi-Akrofi is now heading to the Eastern Region as its Regional Commander.

DCOP Habiba Akyere Twumasi -Sarpong is now the Central Police Regional Commander.

Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP, Afful Boakye Yiadom is now  taking over as the Accra Regional Police Commander.

Frederick Adu-Anim

Accra Regional Police Commander,  DCOP Frederick Adu-Anim is now the Director-General for Information, Communication Technology (ICT).

DCOP Paul Ayittey, is going to be the new North East Police Regional Commander.

DCOP Charles Domanban is now Oti Police Regional Commander and

DCOP Barima Tweneboah Sasraku II has been assigned to head the Tema Police Regional Command.
