Just in: President Nana Addo resumes campaign Sunday, 15th Nov

The ruling government of the New Patriotic Party has indicated that, it will resume political activities on 15th November, 2020.

This was announced by president Akuffo Addo on social media.

President Akuffo Addo upon hearing the untimely passing of the founder of the opposition National Democratic Congress and first president of the fourth republic, Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings, said, he was suspending all political activities in honour of Mr Rawlings.

Coincidentally, the NDC flag bearer, former President John Dramani Mahama, also cut short his six day official campaign in the Ashanti Region to honour the passing of his former boss.

Social media users are unhappy that, President Akuffo Addo could not follow his own advice but rather advertise his party’s campaign activities at the time many Ghanaians are grieving.

The Akuffo Addo led government have in recent times earned the reputation of using decoys to achieving short term gains.

Will the government observe the seven day none political activities?
