Ghanaians from around the world will come together in Birmingham for the Diaspora Reset Engagement Conference, an event aimed at reconnecting, celebrating identity, and fostering collaboration between Ghana and its global community.
The conference serves as a dynamic platform for dialogue, innovation, and partnerships, encouraging Ghanaians in the diaspora to play a key role in shaping the nation’s future. Covering areas like business, culture, technology, and education, this gathering marks a new era of unity, progress, and shared purpose for Ghanaians everywhere.
Organised by Proforum UK & Europe in partnership with the Ghana High Commission, UK, the three-day event will focus on strengthening ties between the Ghanaian diaspora and institutions in Ghana. Under the theme “Connecting Global Talent to Local Transformation,” DREC 2025 will emphasize the pivotal role of Ghanaians abroad in driving innovation, investment, and development, while fostering unity and a renewed purpose within the global Ghanaian community.
Proforum UK & Europe President Kenneth Johnson stated, “This year’s DREC is more than a conference—it’s a collective reset. Our goal is to harness the strength, knowledge, and influence of the diaspora to impact national growth in practical, measurable ways.”
