Communications Minister Told to Suspend GBC DTT Directives – Presidency

President Akufo-Addo has today, [July 23, 2020] directed the Minister of Communications , Ursula Owusu Ekuful to suspend her plans to get to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation to reduce its six channels on the Digital Terrestrial Television platform to three.

A statement signed by the Director of Communication, Eugene Arhin, said the directive is “in connection with the reduction of GBC’s channels on the DTT platform, pending further consultations with stakeholders.
