The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of five suspects in connection with the killing of the Mfantseman Member of Parliament, Ekow Kwansah Hayford.
The late MP was murdered by unknown gunmen on the Nkusukum Mankessim-Abeadze Duadze road in the Central Region on Friday, October 9, 2020.
The police say, the suspects are being taken through “lawful Police procedures”.
The police public affairs directorate has said further updates will be given in due time.
The arrest according to police sources was based on intelligence and police leads.
