Journalists who misrepresent me will suffer together with their generations – Duncan-Williams

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has rained curses on journalists who give misleading account of his sermons.

The man of God, who is unhappy about journalists misrepresenting his sermons to sell their newspapers and news, opined that all such individuals and their bloodlines will not go scot-free.

According to the founder of the Action Chapel International, anybody who does that will suffer the consequences with their generations.

He bemoaned the norm where journalists twist his preachings to make headlines, just to sell their newspapers or stories.

Speaking at a service on Sunday, January 5, 2020, Archbishop Duncan-Williams said all such persons and their children will pay the price for maligning and persecuting him in the media.

“I have accepted persecution and persecution sometimes comes with misrepresentation. People misrepresent me, even my preaching. When I preach they will find something and take something out of what I said to blow it and make a headline to sell,” he said.

“You used me to make wealth. I have forgiven you but the principle is clear, you’ll reap what you sow so keep on using my name on social media to gain points, make money, confuse people, misrepresent me, lie about me, use me anyway you want to, but let me announce to you, you will not go scot-free, there are consequences which will follow your bloodline. It’s just a matter of time and you will know that scripture cannot be broken,” he added.
