Ghana is collapsing under Akufo-Addo – Nunoo Mensah

Contrary to the claims that all is well for every Ghanaians in terms of development, a former National Security Advisor in the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah thinks otherwise.

“Ghana is not developing…Ghana is retrogressing and collapsing”, the Senior Citizen has observed despite positions of current appointees the Akufo-Adddo government has brought relief to Ghanaians since it assumed the reigns of power 2017

Brigadier-General Joseph Nunoo-Mensah flayed the government for under-performing indicating that the current government appointees are selfish and only interested in amassing the limited resources to enriching themselves at the expense of many poor Ghanaians

“Go to Kokomeleme and Makola markets, people are not getting places of convenience and bathrooms to ease themselves”, he observed when he spoke on a local radio station in Kumasi monitored by MyNewsGh.com

“Everyone wants to be richer but do not want to work for it”, Brigadier General Nunu Mensah stated admonishing “we must all put Ghana interest at our heart”.

According to him, policies and flagship programmes continue to face challenges, creating difficulty for the citizenry.

“I know President Nana Akufo-Addo very well, I want him to succeed but what is going on is making life difficult for everyone, I think there is something wrong with the system, no one is listening, there is no impress, there is no money to fund projects but you still want to do it, if you are doing it, do it well.

“So far, one-village-one-dam, can you make a dam without water, you need a borehole to pump water from the ground to fill the dam but too much talk,” Brig-Gen Nunoo-Mensah bemoaned.
