Coronavirus a conspiracy against humanity, 72-hour fast declared against it – Archbishop Duncan Williams

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams,  the Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International ministry, has declared the novel coronavirus, COVID -19, a conspiracy against humanity, lifting a standard against it by  the power of Jesus and declaring a 72-hour fast beginning today.

Speaking to his congregation Sunday, the Archbishop noted that things do not just come out of nothing, and the deadly new strain of corona virus must have come from somewhere as a demonic conspiracy against humanity.

He enjoined his congregation to embark on a 72-hour fast as they pray against its spread as was done in the case of the Ebola virus that spread in 2014 killing many.

“…this virus going around from China and all over the place, I believe that it’s a demonic conspiracy against humanity… Yeah! …

“[How come] something that has no cure suddenly appears from where? It came from somewhere.  Things don’t just happen. Are you hearing me somebody?

It’s a conspiracy against humanity, and by the power of Jesus’ name, we lift up a standard against,” he proclaimed to his congregation Sunday, March 1, 2020.

He warned that he was making his pronouncements as a believer who is confident that his prayers can be answered and nothing more.

“As we proclaim our 72-hour fast, from tomorrow; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, we need to pray and place a divine embargo on this virus like we did to Ebola. That it’ll not come to our shores that it will die on board, that it will not advance any further in the name of Jesus…”

“You can think something is wrong with me, but it’s a matter of faith, it’s a matter of my belief. I believe that God answers prayers, I believe that this virus will not prevail and advance any further. If you believe it, put your hands together and shout ‘yea!’!!

The novel coronavirus has had a devastating effect on humanity since it was first reported in December 2019. It has claimed many lives across the global and Nigeria recently recorded its confirmed case.

Several persons in Ghana have been tested and the results negative.
