Cirencester Teen Climbs The Brecon Beacons To Fund Ghana Trip

A TEENAGER climbed to the top of Brecon Beacons to raise funds for volunteering trip.

Finn Parrish, 14, completed a sponsored night climb up Penyfan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons.

He began his climb at three in the morning and finished by sunrise.

Finn, from Cirencester, is trying to raise £2,000 to fund a trip to Ghana next year where he’ll be volunteering on community projects which include teaching and building work in deprived areas.

He will be joined by fellow students from his school, Deer Park.

As part of his continued fundraising his family are holding an open garden serving teas and cakes at Argyll house 2 carpenters lane on Sunday June 17 from 2pm.
